Promoting digital inclusion
The STIB has donated computer equipment which it no longer needs to associations or schools so that they can make good use of it for the most socially, economically or cognitively vulnerable people.
In 2022, it donated a first batch of laptops to four associations. They can be used during activities related to digital inclusion and/or be offered to beneficiaries affected by social and digital insecurity.
The STIB will launch a new call for donations in 2023. It also plans to test different formulas for digital workshops in collaboration with three non-profit organisations in order to raise awareness about information and communication technologies among different target audiences.
