Things are moving on Rue Léon Theodor
The tram tracks and the Vivaqua facilities have reached the end of their life cycle on Rue Léon Theodor. For the STIB and the municipality of Jette, this was an opportunity to completely redevelop this axis from façade to façade.
The construction site started in 2022 with the utilities. In 2023 and 2024, the STIB plans to replace the rails and improve the road. These works will improve quality of life for residents and the accessibility of tram stops. It will include the widening of pavements and the installation of an anti-vibration cover.
To make life easier in the district during the construction period, residents will have a mobility support programme called "Move Theodor", which allows them to test new forms of mobility.
